While digital content offers quick and easy access to information, printed forms of art and communication, such as books or magazines, allow every page to serve as a meaningful purpose in a larger, cohesive narrative. While physical prints are more costly, there is value in obtaining something tactile that can elicit emotion, memories, and ideas. This event highlighted two LA-based independent publishers, Atelier Éditions and X Artists’ Books, alongside a feature of Far Near’s work.
As usual, our event incorporated a Kive conversation lounge, serving as a critical component in providing the infrastructure for guests to converse, engage in critical thought, and participate in our writing activation.

The two collectives’ collection consisted of contemporary art books engaging with multi-disciplinary artists, project-specific work, and discourse among contemporary art scenes and technological impact.
